Change Requests

BA, Design, Programming

Then tested

Finally approved for release

Test Lead provides comprehensive change request processing, to simplify management of changes which are required after the Requirements Specification has been agreed, or the application has been moved into production.

Change Requests are typically raised by an application user or Business Analyst, and then assessed by the software development team. This assessment is to determine the projected impact of the change on other parts of the system, to identify whether the change in its current form could safely be implemented, and to provide estimated implementation costs. User management then either approves the change or withdraws the request. If the change is to go ahead, then work is assigned as required to business analysts, system designers and programmers.

When the change has been completed and approved by the development team, it is then made available for testing before finally being approved for release into production.
